2. Scope and data processed

This policy covers browsing datumandespartners.com and initial enquiries sent to our email addresses. Professional engagements involving additional processing will be accompanied by the relevant information and authorisations.

This website has no contact form. Email links open your email application; clicking them does not send us a message. A general description is sufficient for an initial enquiry: we do not request sensitive information or complete case files at this stage.

3. Purposes and authorisation

We use contact information to answer enquiries, arrange meetings and prepare requested proposals. Technical data is used to operate and secure our services and resolve incidents.

Processing will be based on your express written consent, which may be given electronically, or on an applicable legal authorisation. Where necessary, we will request that authorisation before processing. Visiting this website or reading this policy does not constitute consent to other uses. We will not use your enquiry for advertising campaigns without specific authorisation.

4. Recipients and service providers

Handling an enquiry may require access by our partners and those involved in managing it. Technology providers supplying hosting and email may process information to provide those services; our corporate email service is supplied by OVHcloud.

Providers' infrastructure may involve processing outside Chile. You may request information about the providers and locations relevant to your data through our privacy contact. This policy does not imply that all data remains in Chile.

We do not sell personal data. Disclosure to third parties not involved in handling the enquiry will require the appropriate authorisation or a legal basis, including valid requests from competent authorities.

5. Retention and confidentiality

Enquiry information will be retained for as long as necessary to respond and provide the follow-up requested. If services are engaged, the necessary records will become part of the engagement file. Any subsequent retention must be supported by legal obligations or another applicable legal basis; information will not be kept indefinitely merely because it was received.

Information will be treated confidentially. Access must be limited to those who need it for the stated purpose, with safeguards proportionate to the nature of the data. No electronic service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

You may request information about your data, its source, purpose and recipients; ask for its correction, deletion or blocking where applicable; and withdraw consent in writing without retroactive effect. You may also object to advertising use as provided by law.

Email cristobal.roa@datumandespartners.com with your name, your request and the data or communication concerned. Additional identity information will be requested only where necessary to avoid disclosing information to someone else. We will respond within the applicable statutory period. These channels do not restrict the remedies available under the law.

7. Cookies and external links

This version of the website does not include Google Analytics, advertising pixels, embedded social content or our own tracking cookies. Infrastructure services may use technical mechanisms necessary for security and operation. You can manage cookies in your browser.

LinkedIn links lead to an external service governed by its own privacy policy. If we add tools that change the processing described here, we will update this information and obtain any required authorisations.

8. Applicable law and updates

This policy is based on Chilean Law No. 19,628 as in force on the date of this policy. The amendments introduced by Law No. 21,719 take effect on 1 December 2026; their application will require corresponding updates to this policy and our processing procedures.

Changes will be published here with their update date. A change to this text does not, by itself, authorise new purposes incompatible with those previously stated.
